Privacy Policy
Effective date: 18 August 2026
Droace (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit droace.com, contact us or make a purchase.
1. Information we collect
- Identity and contact details, including name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery address.
- Order, transaction, returns and customer-support information.
- Account and preference information.
- Device, browser, IP address, cookie identifiers, site activity and approximate location.
- Information supplied by payment, delivery, fraud-prevention, analytics and advertising partners.
Payment-card details are generally handled directly by Shopify and payment providers rather than stored by us.
2. How and why we use information
We use information to process orders and payments; deliver products; provide support; administer returns and warranties; secure the store and prevent fraud; comply with law; improve our products and website; remember preferences; and send marketing where permitted.
3. Legal bases
Where the UK GDPR or similar law applies, our legal bases include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, and consent for activities that require it, including certain marketing and non-essential cookies.
4. Sharing
We may share information with Shopify; payment processors; logistics and delivery providers; cloud, customer-support, analytics, advertising, security and professional-service providers; regulators and law-enforcement authorities where required; and parties to a legitimate business transaction. We do not sell personal information for money. Certain advertising disclosures may be treated as “sharing” or targeted advertising under some laws, and available opt-outs will be provided where required.
5. International transfers
Droace operates from Hong Kong and uses providers in multiple countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy arrangements or contractual protections.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including tax, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention and warranty requirements. We use proportionate administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; opt out of direct marketing or targeted advertising; and complain to a privacy regulator. We may verify identity before completing a request. UK individuals may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office; Hong Kong individuals may contact the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data. You may also contact your local authority.
8. Children
Our store is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to data processing or enter into contracts in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect their information without appropriate authorisation.
9. Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for information about cookies, similar technologies and available controls.
10. Contact and updates
To exercise privacy rights or ask questions, email info@droace.com. We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date.
